Setting the Time
This clasp assures a secure fit of your watch and easy opening and closing.
It allows for a one-time strap fitting instead of refitting each time the watch is
worn. We suggest sighted assistance for this initial fitting.
1. Pull out the crown to Position 2
(all the way out). Rotate crown
counterclockwise to set the
hands to the correct time.
1. Remove the strap end from the leather loop(s).
2. Return the crown to the fully
depressed Position 1.
2. Open the clasp by gently pulling the end of the strap away from the watch.
In case the strap end is accidentally removed from the metal buckle, place it
back into the buckle with the cross (which is slightly raised) facing outward.
Additional Features
3. Fitting the watch may take some trial and error. Start by identifying the small
pin that's attached to the back of the buckle. Insert the pin into a hole in the
strap. For thicker wrists use the holes closer to the end of the strap or, for
thinner wrists, closer to the watch.
Flip-open Crystal
This feature enables you to open the crystal in order to touch-read the time.
1. Press the flip-open pusher, located on the outside of the watch at the
4 o’clock position. The crystal will spring open.
4. Pull the buckle toward the end of the strap to secure the pin.
5. Slip your wrist thru the strap and fold the metal hinge properly so it conforms
2. Touch the hands and dial to to determine the time.
3. Return the crystal to its fully closed position manually.
to your wrist.

6. Place the thumb of your opposite hand on the buckle and your index finger
underneath the curved metal hinge and squeeze until the buckle snaps
closed.
